  1. Boys Scout Troop 390 and 2390     Scout Troop 390 is joined by Troop 2390 to celebrate its 33rd year of providing a quality program of character building and leadership experiences for youth through community service in the San José Area. Troops 390 and 2390 are proud to be a part of the Rose White and Blue Parade.
  2. Exchange Club of San José     The Exchange Club of San José, catered in 1949, has been a leader in service to community for 7 decades. Today, to celebrate 4th of July, is "Give a Kid a Flag to Wave" day, one of Exchange Club's programs of service.
  3. The Shasta/Hanchett Park Neighborhood     The Shasta/Hanchett Park Neighborhood Association is a volunteer-based community organization founded in 1985. S/HPNA provides and promotes programs and activities aimed at building community and fostering civic involvement in this historic community.   4. Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren   Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren represents California’s 19th Congressional District including the cities of San Jose, Morgan Hill and Gilroy in the U.S. house of Representatives. Zoe has lived in Naglee Park in San Jose for many decades.
  5. Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club     The antique autos are driven by the members of the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club. The Ford Model T was produced from 1908 to 1927. During this time period around 15 million Model Ts were produced. The Model T was "the car that changed the world."
  6. Barbara Keegan of the Santa Clara Water District     The mission of the Santa Clara Valley Water District is to provide Silicon Valley safe, clean water for a healthy life, environment, and economy. Santa Clara Valley Water District is nationally recognized as a leading water resources management agency.
  7. American G.I. Forum of San José     Veteran organization celebrating its 60 yelisted separatelyar anniversary in San José. Motto is "Education is our Freedom and Freedom should be everybody's business."
  8. Lawrence E. Stone     Watch out, hold onto your wallets, here comes the county assessor, Larry Stone. Now, there is a tradition in Santa Clara County that whenever you see the Assessor, you "Boo" so, on a count of three let's give Larry Stone a proper welcome. One, two, three... boo! We love you Larry!
  9. Classic Firetruck—Lynn and Nancy Alens     1925 Ford Model T Fire Engine. Originally put into service by a small rural fire department in Michigan. After a short stay in Wisconsin it was recently moved to California.
  10. Cub Scout Pack 2224     Cub Scout Pack 2224 is from the Valley View neighborhood of San José, California, and was founded in 2015. As a family pack, it includes both boys and girls from Kindergarden through 5thgrade. The scouts participate in activities such as camping, hicking, and community service. The Pack helps scouts build character, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness
  11. Santa Clara Valley Model A Ford Club     The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America was founded in 1960. They currently have 104 family members and over 160 Model A's. They meet the first Tuesday of every month at the Cypress Community Center in San José at 7:30 p.m. and actively drive their cars throughout the Santa Clara Valley, California, The United States and North America.   12. Assembly Member Kansen Chu of 25th Assembly District     Assembly Member Kansen Chu represents the 25th Assembly District, which includes the cities of San José, Milpitas, Santa Clara, and Newark, since first elected in 2014 to the state of California State Assembly.
  13. Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 201     The former Vietnam military forces who are joining the US veterans and current service men/woman, in honoring and assisting of many aspects such as: morality, physical services, entertainment, and legislation. Especially, participating in all important festival ceremonies to uphold and promote the military. Merits for the country. 
  14. Grand Marshal Carl Gaurdino     Carl Guardino is the President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, a public policy trade association that represents more than 350 of Silicon Valley’s most respected employers. He is also a four-term gubernatorial appointee on the California Transportation Commission. Known throughout the region as a consensus builder, Guardino has championed a number of successful ballot measures, primarily in the areas of transportation and housing. Guardino was born and raised in San José and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from San José State University, where he is a Distinguished Alumnus. 
  15. Valley Baton Club     Valley Baton Club loves celebrating the 4th of July in the Bay Area. Athletes train year round to perform at local events as well as competitions locally and nationally. Today, you are looking at some of the nation's finest baton twirlers. Next year, Valley Baton Club will be celebrating 40 years of twirling excellence. 
  16. German Shepherds of the Bay Area     German Shepherds of the Bay Area meet up group has over 600 members from San Francisco to Patterson who do activities with their German Shepherd for the past 9 years.
  17. Supervisor Susan Ellenberg of Santa Clara County District 4     Santa Clara County District 4 supervisor Susan Ellenberg represents the cities of Campbell, Santa Clara and West San José- including the Rose Garden and Willow Glen communities- as well as the unincorporated communities of Burbank and Cambrian. She works to protect our children, support our mothers, stabilize our families, and empower our youth. 
  18. Dance for an Audience of One- Folklorico     Dance for an Audience of One Academy of Otila Torres presents "Asi Soy"- "This is Me" representing vibrant student dancers ranging from ages 6-18 years old. They are celebrating "Freedom" while showcasing traditional Mexican Regional Costumes and dance steps. Student participants are from Sakamoto Elementary, Del Roble Elementary, Herman Jr High, Santa Teresa High, Yerba Buena High, and Oak Grove High Schools.

  20. Nora Campos       Nora Campos is a candidate for the California State Senate in District 15. Nora previously served San José in the California State Assembly in District 27 and on the San José City Council in District 5.

  28. Westminster Presbyterian     Westminster Church is a community where all people are welcome and respected.  Our Mission is to be a Christian community of welcoming and nurturing faith.   29. Santa Clara County Sheriff Pipe Band      Sponsored by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Pipe Band performs for that agency's events as well as numerous other local fire and police agencies under the leadership of Pipe Major Joshua Agee. Members range in age from 15 to 75. Approximately two thirds of the band are pipers; one third are drummers. 
  30. Mr. Ante     This award-winning 1939 La Salle Cadillac was designed by Harley Earl, who later became the chief designer for General Motors. Among his many accomplishments was the design of the Corvette and the concept of a dealership. He began his career working for his father in California building handmade buggies and coaches for millionaires in the 20s. Designed using an existing Cadillac chassis and engine, Harley Earl's La Salle can last for 1,000,000 miles. Production was halted in the 40s, when the V 16 engine was used as an airplane motor in World War II. 
  31. Office of Senator Bob Wieckowski       Senator Bob Wieckowski is proud to represent the 10th district in the California state senate. The district includes the Rose Garden neighborhood in San José, along with Northeast Santa Clara County and Southern Alameda County. Bob and his Team wish you all a happy 4th of July!
  32. San José Sharks Fire Truck     This is the San Jose Fire Fighters Shark Engine – a parade and public relations vehicle painted to resemble a huge, prowling shark. It was created to show the San Jose Fire Fighter’s support for its hockey team, the San Jose Sharks, while affording a means to highlight the San Jose Fire Fighter’s fire public education and fire prevention messages throughout the community     
  33. Hearts and Hands Preschool      Hearts and Hands Christian Childcare and Preschool is proud to offer childcare to children from ages 2 to entry into First grade.   34. Volks Friend Car Club     Volks friends is just a family of enthusiasts that love VWs.
  35. Fire Associates of Santa Clara Valley ​    Fire Associates of Santa Clara Valley volunteers provide emergency support to the eleven fire departments throughout the Santa Clara County. 2019 marks the Fire Associates 50th year of service. Fire Associate volunteers respond with one of several Fire Support Units, like this one, to all major emergency incidents, providing first responders with crucial on scene support including hydration, meals and rest areas. 
  36. YMCA of Silicon Valley     The Y is a leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. They are a powerful association of men, women, and children of all ages and walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundation of community.
  37. Grupo Folklorico Los Quetzales     Grupo Folklórico Los Quetzales de San José & Grupo Santa Paula de Newark and Mexican Folklorico dance groups comprised of dancers aged 4-15 and their families who perform traditional dances from various regions of Mexico such as Jalisco, Veracruz, Sinaloa, Michoacán, Baja California, and more. The two groups are also accompanied today by Mexican folk musicians, Los Panaderos.
  38. Paul Bingardi     It's a local classic! This is "The Red Rocket"- a 1975 Ford Bronco with a 302 V-8 engine and a "three on the tree" transmission. It was sold new at Capitol Ford in San José on June 24, 1975 for $4,979. It is currently owned and being driven by Paul Brigardi of San Mateo, CA.
  39. San José Police Department Historical Society     Original San José Police Department 1964 Plymouth Savoy Police Car- equipped with all original equipment.
  40. Silicon Valley Pride     Silicon Valley Pride is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.  It is the largest Pride celebration of the South Bay and is a family friendly event. The LGBTQ+ movement has been built on the backs of people who have fought hard for equality and progression. We choose to honor those individuals and those whom we’ve lost. It is important, now more than ever, to make our voices heard and to celebrate our diversity!
  41. Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center     The Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center provides community, leadership, advocacy, services and support to the Silicon Valley’s LGBTQ People and their Allies. They strive to be the community's premier resource hub and a recognized leader in promoting health, strength, diversity and inclusiveness.
  42. San José Jazz     This is the San Jose Jazz Streetcar Float! Featuring students and instructors from San José Jazz Summer Camp. Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of San José Jazz Summerfest on August 9th to 11th throughout Downtown San José.There will be more than 150 performances over three days on fourteen stages. 
  43. Trace Elementary School     The Tigers are from Trace Elementary School, located across from the Rose Garden. This school is the largest elementary school in the San José Unified School District. They are proud of their Academics as well as their performing arts program
  44. Uncle Sam brought to you by the Alameda Business Association     The Alameda Business Association, with the dedicated leadership of Larry Clark and Andy Batchelder, was the group that re-established the parade after a decades long hiatus. They ran it for 9 years before the Parade established its own dedicated non-profit organization. The Parade organization still works closely with the ABA.
  45. San José Women’s Club      San José Women's Club is celebrating 125 years of serving the community. They have helped get women the right to vote, protected the redwoods, and helped establish kindergartens, libraries, and local organizations including San José Day nursery and Hope Services. All while promoting the arts and providing a haven for those who want to grow and learn while having fun. Membership is open to all, men and women, and is just $90. Join today!
  46. Councilmember Dev Davis, District 6      Councilmember Dev Davis represents District 6 in San José. Before being elected in 2016, Councilmember Davis spent 12 years as an education researcher for Stanford University's Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO). With a strong interest in community organizing, she served as a Chair of the City of San José's Early Care and Education Committee, a delegate to the Junior League of California’s State Public Affairs Committee, President of the North Willow Glen Neighborhood Association, and Public Relations Chair for the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Playground Committee.
  47. Sharkie     A consistent and familiar presence at every Sharks home game, Sharkie has the enviable task of entertaining a sold out crowd in San Jose night in and night out, performing a variety of exciting death-defying and unique stunts and acts. Besides his countless public appearances, Sharkie is involved with numerous Bay Area charities, and spends countless hours on behalf of the Sharks Foundation by lending a "fin" to their school programs, fundraisers, meetings and projects throughout the year (sharksfoundation.org).
  48. San José Fire Department     The San José Fire Department (SJFD) is committed to serving the community by protecting life, property, and the environment through prevention and response. Responding to approximately 91,000 calls for service each year (from 33 Fire Stations), SJFD is a high-volume, high-performance, "all-hazard" fire department. In terms of critical infrastructure, SJFD is the emergency service provider for a number of high-hazard occupancies.
  49. California Satsang Society, Eckankar     Since 1972, here in the San José community, Eckankar, the path of spiritual freedom, has offered spiritual study to youth, families, and adults, to bring more understanding, love, and help in your daily life.   51. Andy’s Pet Shop     Andy's Pet Shop was founded in 1950. The Pet Adoption Center at Andy's offers only rescued animals, some of which are marching in the parade today behind the 1954 "root beer brown" Ford Pick up.

  53. Koehler and Associates     This plum colored ‘32 Roadster Highboy is driven by David Koehler of Koehler & Associates, CPA's. His firm is celebrating their 25th year of providing accounting and financial services to individuals and small businesses in San Jose. Dave is also co-owner of Wine Affairs on The Alameda. Evergreen Rotary     The Rotary Club of San Jose East/Evergreen is part of District 5170, which is comprised of more than 3,700 members covering the counties of Alameda, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and San Benito, California. The Club is made up of men and women representing a wide cross-section of local businesses professionals and community leaders.
  55. Hanchett Park Living Historicals      We share a passion for all types & levels of costuming. Many in our group are members of other organizations such as the Greater Bay Area Costumers Guild, and the Art Deco Society. We are commemorating "Prohibition,” the 18th Constitutional Amendment ratified by Congress in 1919. One hundred years ago, there was great contention across the nation over alcohol. Just 14 years later in 1933, the 21St Amendment repealed Prohibition.

The district serves a diverse community with about 7000 kindergarten through 8th grade students in 13 schools. David has lived in the Berryessa area of San José for 21 years and his two children have grown up there and have attended district schools. David is running for city council in District 4.

  69. Christmas in the Park     Christmas in the Park is celebrating its 40th year and they have so many fun additions to their event planned. The park staff, Board, and volunteers work year round to plan and prepare for the annual holiday celebration. July 13th is their biggest fundraiser of the Year and tickets are still available.

  74. Vietnamese Boy & Girl Scouts     Bach Viet Scouting Group is a nonprofit organization, which serves Vietnamese Youth of Santa Clara county, who were born and raised in America.
  75. Miss & Mrs Vietnam USA     The Miss & Mrs Vietnam USA is a 50103 non profit organization based in Silicon Valley. MVNUSA hosts Miss Teen, Miss, and Mrs Vietnam USA pageants annually to preserve the Vietnamese heritage and to empower Vietnamese women. Miss & Mrs Vietnam USA and her royal courts.

San José Department of Transportation-Parking Compliance Unit     City of San José Parking Compliance Unit is dedicated to serving the community through service priorities such as patrolling our schools for safe practices, keeping our neighborhoods clear of abandoned vehicles reported through the MySanJose app, and responding to over 5,000 calls for service from the Public 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

The Office of Assembly Member Evan Low     Assembly member Evan Low represent 28th Assembly district, encompassing the cities of Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Aratoga, and the areas of West San José, Willow Glen, Cambrian, and Almaden Valley. Low grew up in Silicon Valley and has been a regional community leader. Prior to his election in the assembly in 2014, Low served as mayor in Campbell. He continues his lifelong passion for LGBTQ rights and civic engagement.
  79. Tian Guo Marching Band     The Tian Guo Marching Band performs both original music scores and American classics and has traveled across the west to participate in community parades. Along with practicing music, each band member shares the spiritual meditation practice called Falun Dafa which is based on the principles of ruthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. The mission of the band is to present the beauty of Falun Dafa. Band members are honored to participate in the Rose, White, and Blue Parade and wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July!

  87. West Winds Capitol 6 Drive-Ins and Public Market     When you come to a West Wind Drive-In, you'll experience more than just a great movie, you'll experience a unique and historic slice of Americana.
  88. The Bulb Guy     Since 1985 Rich Santoro, aka The Bulb Guy, has dug, dropped, covered, watered and stepped awaaaaaay from some 84,000 spring bulbs. Each year Rich invites the general public to The Bulb Guy Garden Show free of charge. 4000 to 7000 bulbs are buried each year by Rich himself on his ¼ acre garden.
  89. Eagle Field Foundation The Eagle Field Foundation is a Living History and vehicle restoration Non-Profit Educational Foundation. Our mission is to continue military history & technology vehicle preservation and veteran appreciation. Today we have a WWII Willy's 1/4 ton Jeep representing the US ground forces in Europe and the Pacific.  2nd vehicle is a MRAP. Mine Resistant Armor Protected truck used in both Gulf Wars. It was developed here in SJ by FMC/BAE
